Carpenter

Hudson Point Carpentry is seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to join our growing field team. We perform a wide range of commercial interior construction projects throughout New York City, including office fit-outs, renovations, retail spaces, hospitality projects, and ground-up developments. We're looking for dependable professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Install metal and wood framing, blocking, and backing - Read and interpret construction drawings and layout dimensions - Install doors, frames, hardware, and finish carpentry as required - Build temporary protection, barricades, and miscellaneous carpentry items - Coordinate work with project supervisors and other trades - Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules - Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements - 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience - OSHA 30 required - SST Card required or ability to obtain before starting - Ability to read construction drawings - Experience using common carpentry hand and power tools - Reliable transportation to NYC jobsites - Strong attention to detail and teamwork
